Free Inspections and Estimates
Flint Hills Foundation offers complimentary foundation inspections to property owners in our service area. When you request a free inspection:
- Scheduling: We will work with you to schedule a convenient time for our licensed inspector to visit your property. Inspection appointments are subject to availability and weather conditions
- Inspection Process: Our inspector will conduct a thorough evaluation of your foundation, identify any issues, and determine the underlying causes of foundation problems. This may include examination of interior and exterior foundation walls, crawl spaces, basements, and surrounding soil conditions
- Written Estimate: Following the inspection, we will provide a detailed written estimate outlining the recommended repair solutions, scope of work, materials to be used, project timeline, and total cost. Estimates are provided free of charge with no obligation to proceed with repairs
- Estimate Validity: Written estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance. After 30 days, material costs, labor rates, or scope of work may change, requiring a revised estimate
- No Obligation: Requesting a free inspection and estimate does not obligate you to accept our services, and we will not pressure you into making an immediate decision
If you decide to proceed with foundation repair services, we will require a signed service agreement and may require a deposit before work begins. The terms of the service agreement will govern the specific repair project.
Warranties
Flint Hills Foundation stands behind the quality of our workmanship and materials. Warranty coverage varies depending on the type of service performed:
- Workmanship Warranty: We provide a warranty on our labor and installation workmanship for the period specified in your service agreement. This warranty covers defects in the installation or application of our repair methods
- Materials Warranty: Many of the materials and products we use in foundation repair are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will provide you with information about applicable manufacturer warranties for materials used in your project
- Transferable Warranties: Many of our warranties are transferable to subsequent property owners if the property is sold, subject to the terms and conditions specified in the warranty documentation
- Warranty Limitations: Warranties do not cover damage caused by natural disasters, extreme weather events, earthquakes, floods, acts of God, negligence, improper maintenance, alterations made by others, or normal wear and tear. Warranties also do not cover new foundation issues that arise from different causes than those addressed by the original repair
- Warranty Claims: To make a warranty claim, you must notify us in writing within a reasonable time after discovering the issue. We will inspect the problem and, if covered under warranty, will repair or remedy the issue at no additional charge
Specific warranty terms will be outlined in your service agreement. Please review your service agreement carefully and contact us if you have questions about warranty coverage.
